Kaufman & Forman, P.C.

More than three decades ago, the predecessor to Kaufman & Forman, P.C., was established as a solo practice by Robert J. Kaufman, who sought to offer capable representation with a personalized touch to the Greater Atlanta, Georgia, community. Since then, we've grown to include six partners and several associates, and our scope has broadened as well to span multiple practice areas, including commercial litigation, personal injury, family law, employment law, real estate litigation and a robust appellate practice. In addition, we provide counsel to firms around the country, and assist business clients with facilitating mergers and acquisitions that foster long-term growth and help them protect their intellectual property.

Despite our evolution into a full-service firm with large-firm results, however, we remain steadfastly committed to the small-firm values of our founding partner, who continues to practice with us today. Combining insightful, compassionate representation tailored to each client's unique circumstances with case strategies that speak to our experience and analytical approach, we've secured numerous significant verdicts and settlements, including a judgment in excess of $1.1 million on behalf of our client in a breach of contract lawsuit against a wholesale apparel retailer and manufacturer, and a reversal by the Supreme Court of Georgia in favor of our client overturning an appellate court ruling in a complex breach of fiduciary duty case involving a $2.65 million certificate of deposit.

Our partners have more than 110 years of legal experience and thousands of litigation, appellate and settlement victories between them. While senior partner Robert J. Kaufman has secured numerous multimillion-dollar awards and settlements throughout the country, all of our attorneys are courtroom-tested and are highly respected professionals. Our firm has received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating, attesting to our strong legal ethics and superb case record.
